Not A Museum of Contemporary Art is a collection of artists’ descriptions of exhibitions and performances. The inspiration for this project is Rirkrit Tiravanija’s 2004-05 exhibition A Retrospective (tomorrow is another fine day), in which guides read aloud texts written by Tiravanija, Bruce Sterling and Philippe Parreno, evoking works that were not on view.
